Client Reviews

I had to review this film right after seeing that one more reviewer gave it just 1 Star, turning it off right after watching for only a single hour. It was brilliant of Burns and Provider to pick out service males and girls along with civilians from 4 American cities and follow them all through the plan. Given the scope of the war, it really is the only logical way to break it down and attempt to convey a sense of what it was like here at household or "more than there." And just like the people, we see the way the war alterations the cities too. It might appear a little slow to start off to some, but give it the time and long before the initial episode is over, you will be hooked. I ended up watching the series once more a week later considering that it was so deeply on my thoughts and I wanted to see this component and that once more. Emotional, educational, deeply moving, even surprisingly funny in a couple of locations - I wish this film was needed viewing for each American - along with "The Fog of War."

Okay initial off, I had to write a assessment given that some of these brief sighted reviewers were giving 1 star ratings. This is at LEAST a 4-five star Doc depending on your metric. I give it five stars given that of the special view this series affords us of tiny town america's contribution to WW2. The narration, the archival footage and the music are all leading notch. If you want to acquire a fresh view of the sacrifices produced at property and abroad to save the zero cost world please, please watch this.
Also as a side note, I consider this series most likely rates about pg-13 or R depending on the episode, as there is some material of a graphic nature. That said, the series is not overly focused on shocking the viewer and in all probability most of the segments are not extreme in nature, but are rather focused on presenting a clear view of what basically happened.
